It’s very common to have an imaginary friend at least once in your childhood. For me, it was an imaginary enemy. Her name was Christine. She was someone that I created as a competitor to help me make good choices and decisions in my life. It was almost like the angel and devil over your shoulders from a movie. Me, as a child, taking the “angel and devil” concept too literally, therefore perceived Christine to be a more monster-like version of me, because she was the “devil” figure in my life. However, as much as I hated her and only considered her to be my rival, she was a big part of my childhood, in developing my decision-making skills, and was a confidence booster. In this video, I am running through the streets of Koreatown, with a real-life version of Christine on my back. Having her on my back is a symbolism of how present she was in my life. The video is edited childishly, with child-like drawings and child-like insults, all directed towards Christine at that time.
